These terminals are used for monitoring, controlling, and displaying application status. The 2711P-B12C4D2 unit belongs to the 1250 series of terminals that include logic, communication, and display modules. It has a 12.1-inch color touchscreen with a native resolution of 800 x 600 and a display size of 10.11 inches x 15.35 inches, or 257 millimeters x 390 millimeters. It has both a keypad and a touchscreen for input capabilities. The touchscreen is analog resistive with an actuation rating of one million (1,000,000) presses at an operating force of 10 G to 110 G. The keypad has three groups of keys: numeric, function, and navigation keys. The numeric keys include keys labels 0 to 9, backspace, enter, shift, esc, ctrl, alt, and much more. the function keys of this terminal include the F1 to F20 keys, as well as the K1 to K20 keys. The navigation keys of this terminal include arrow keys, such as up, down, left, and right. For communication purposes, the terminal is equipped with Ethernet communication, a RS-232 port, and two (2) USB ports. The terminal power input is 24 volts DC nominal, with acceptable range of 18 to 32 volts DC. The unit's typical power consumption is 39 watts (1.6 amperes at 24 volts DC) and its maximum power consumption is 70 watts (2.9 amperes at 24 volts DC).The logic module includes an external slot for Compact Flash Memory and is equipped with a 128 Megabytes memory card.
