The 2711E-K10C15 operator terminal is part of the PanelView 1000e product family, designed for industrial use by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. It operates on an input voltage of 180 to 264 volts AC. This terminal is equipped with a numeric keypad for operator input. This keypad consists of navigation, numeric, and function keys. This keypad has a total of twenty-one (21) function keys. These keys are made with stainless steel and are sealed. In addition to the keypad, this PanelView Plus operator terminal is equipped with a 6189-NL2 screen saver backlight, which operators can configure flexibly. The manufacturer evaluated the same backlight, and it resulted that it can withstand 10,000 mechanical hours of regular industrial use. This device has a display that measures 10.4 inches. The display is an active-matrix TFT display that is capable of showing color. Its memory capacity is 2.25 megabytes onboard flash memory. Also, users can add up to 16 megabytes of external memory on this operator terminal. It should be noted that this external memory can be installed using a computer. This terminal also is equipped with a battery-backed clock. When operating this terminal, the temperature of the area surrounding it should range from 0 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius, or 32 degrees Fahrenheit to +122 degrees Fahrenheit. However, when storing this operator terminal, the temperature should range from -25 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent temperature range of -13 degrees Fahrenheit to +140 degrees Fahrenheit. The relative humidity should be 95% non-condensing at 50 degrees Celsius.
