The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A15L1 PanelView monochrome terminal has a 5.5-inches liquid crystal blue mode display (LCD) which has a resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. This PanelView monochrome terminal operates with the touch screen in which each screen object can occupy 128 touch cells. The 2711-T5A15L1 terminal contains a ControlNet port which can connect to single or multiple controllers such as ControlLogix or PLC-5 controllers through the 1756-CNB module. This PanelView monochrome terminal provides also an RS-232 which can be wired to either a printer or to the computer RS-232 port for sending files and applications. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A15L1 terminal includes 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A15L1 supports a memory card which stores applications. This monochrome terminal uses either 2711-NC13 or 2711-NC14 cables to upload and download application files between this terminal and the computer. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A15L1 monochrome touch screen terminal supports an input voltage rating range of 18 to 32 volts DC with a maximum power consumption of 18 watts. The 2711-T5A15L1 terminal should be installed in panels or enclosure to preserve the internal circuitry.
