The 2711-K9C3 is a discontinued PanelView 900 Graphics Terminal by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is specially designed and intended for monitoring and controlling machine applications except for critical functions such as stopping during an emergency. The 2711-K9C3 Graphics Terminal provides pixel graphics. This terminal is a human-machine interface or HMI that comes with a 9-inch keypad, display, and navigation button. The keypad is made of a stainless-steel bezel fitted with 16 function keys. This PanelView terminal has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, weighs about 8.2 lbs, measures 18 x 14 x 8 inches, and supports the 32 standard colors. It also has a non-volatile memory of 1008 kilobytes memory, 310 kilobytes of RAM, and an input voltage range of 85 – 264 volts AC. Allen Bradley 2711-K9C3 comes with a DH-485 port for communication purposes as well as uploading or downloading application files. The terminal features DH-485 terminals that provide point-to-point communication using a single SLC 500 or MicroLogix controller. The system also communicates with several processors over a DH-485 network.
