The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A2L1 is a DC-powered operator terminal manufactured as part of the Bulletin 2711 and PanelView Standard Operator Terminals product line. This monochromatic keypad input terminal uses 24 volts DC power source and has a maximum power consumption of 58 watts or 2.5 amperes. It has a supply voltage range of 18 – 30 volts and features a 9 inch AC gas-plasma screen with 640 x 400 pixels of screen resolution. The unit comes with a keypad input specially designed for smooth finger operation, whether bare or gloved. The PanelView 900 operator terminal keypad Interface has a DH-485 communication port, which enhances the connection to the DH-485 network. For safety, the 2711-K9A2L1 terminal must not be connected to an AC power source, and it should have its branch conduit, with the signal and power units wired separately. When the terminal is reset or power is applied, it runs a series of self-tests. The user can also control the HMI by using the keypad to input information and data. It has an internal memory of 1008 kilobytes KB with a non-replaceable internal backlight part. It weighs approximately 8 lbs, and dimensions are 18 x 14 x 8 inches.
