Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A2 is an operator terminal manufactured as a member of the Bulletin 2711 PanelView 900 operator terminals series. The unit is a configurable human-machine interface (HMI) used to display, monitor, and control the industrial system’s status information. This operator terminal is a 9-inch monochrome AC plasma display with a screen resolution of 640 x 400 pixels that is suitable for easy viewing. The user can use gloves or bare hands when using the keypad. The applications comprise a logical arrangement of screens, including control lists, data entry objects, and indicators in place of the control panel. The PanelView applications can be stored in a memory card and accessed using the operator terminal. Also, font files, as well as other applications that require permanent installation, can be stored in the memory card. The 2711-K9A2 is an AC-rated PanelView operator terminal with an input voltage of 120 volts AC, supply voltage range of 85 – 264 volts AC at 47 - 63 hertz of frequency. All of these sixteen (16) function keys are fully programmable. There are also numeric and several navigation keys on the keypad assembly. All the keys are tested to support up to one million (1,000,000) actuations. Users can also install legends on the function keys.
