Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A1L1 is an operator terminal designed to provide the user with an interface for monitoring, executing applications, and displaying information in the logic controller. It is a DC-version 9-inch monochrome display terminal manufactured as part of the PanelView 900 Standard Operator Terminals series. It operates on 24 volts DC of input power, has a maximum power consumption of 58 Watts or 2.5 amperes, and supply voltage range of 18 – 30 volts DC. The 2711-K9A1L1 operator interface helps the operator to input commands using a set of 14 keys placed on the right side of the terminal display. They are numeric keys (0-9) and minus, plus, decimal point, enter and backspace keys. The terminal also has a cursor and 16 other user-defined keys. The additional buttons it has are cursor keys and 16 other user-defined function keys. Allen Bradley 2711-K9A1L1 operator terminal has RS-232 Printer and RIO Communication Port for communication purposes. These two ports help to connect the terminal with printers supporting the IBM enhanced character set. The printer settings are maintained between power cycles. The 2711-K9A1L1 has a non-replaceable internal backlight, and it approximately weighs 8 lbs and measures 18 x 14 x 8 inches. This terminal supports block and discrete data transferring.
