The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C9 terminal is an operator terminal that can be used to create an efficient human-machine interface. The terminal houses a 5-inch color display screen that allows the user to actively interact with the devices in the system during the system process. The functions of these components can also be initiated by the user directly from the terminal from a relatively remote location. The terminal has a standard RS-232 port that can be used to create an interface between the terminal and the system. The DH-485 network link established between the terminal and the components allows the user to control and monitor the status of the applications used within the control system. The network also allows the user to establish a remote connection with various I/O devices and trigger their functions through specific applications. The 2711-K6C9 electronic terminal also houses an RS-232 printer port that can be used over the DH-485 network as a standard I/O device. The terminal can be powered using either AC or DC power. In order to protect and preserve the internal circuitry of the terminal, a fuse or a circuit breaker rated at a maximum of 15 amperes can be used. To avoid circuit damage, the signal wiring and the power wiring should be routed through different conduits. The communication lines can be installed in conduits rated at a maximum of 10 volts. The supply voltage for the terminal can range from 85 to 264 volts of alternating current, with a maximum power consumption of 60 volt-amperes.
The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C9 is an operator terminal. It comes with an embedded keypad operator. There are two RS-232 communication interfaces on this module. It supports both printer communication and DH-485 communication. The dimensions of this terminal are 192 millimeters x 290 millimeters x 116 millimeters, or 7.55 inches x 11.40 inches 4.57 inches. It weighs approximately six (6) pounds. This device belongs to the PanelView 600 series of operator terminals. It is a type of HMI (human machine interface). It must be flush-mounted on an enclosure. It can be either located near or remote from the connected device. It shows a realistic display. In order to operate properly, this terminal requires a 47 to 63 hertz input frequency. The heat dissipation rating on this module is 32 watts (107 BTU/hr). It should be operated at an optimal temperature rating of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. It can absorb the vibration of 2G. Furthermore, it can absorb an operation shock of 15G. It comes with the active matrix thin-film transistor technology. It also features an advanced CCF backlight operation.
The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C9 PanelView 600 standard operator terminal comes with a large screen. The screen size of this display is 115 x 86 millimeters (4.54 x 3.4 inches).
