The Allen-Bradley 2711-K5A9L1 PanelView monochrome terminal has a 5.5-inches liquid crystal blue mode display (LCD) which has a resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. This PanelView monochrome terminal operates with the stainless steel domed membrane keypad which involves 10 function keys from F1 to F10 for navigation. The 2711-K5A9L1 terminal contains a single RS-232 (DH-485) communication port which connects to MicroLogix and SLC 500 controllers as-well-as network communication with multiple processors over the DH-485 network and provides a dedicated connection for high priority data in a point-to-point configuration. This monochrome terminal includes also a single RS-232 communication port for printing. The Allen-Bradley 2711-K5A9L1 terminal includes 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. The Allen-Bradley 2711-K5A9L1 supports a memory card which stores applications. This monochrome terminal uses a 1747-UIC cable to both upload and download application files between this terminal and the computer. The Allen-Bradley 2711-K5A9L1 monochrome keypad terminal supports an input voltage rating range of 18 to 30 volts DC with a maximum power consumption of 18 watts.
