The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10C20L1 is a sophisticated operator terminal and is a part of the Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PanelView 1000 Color Terminals. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch color display which gives the user a highly interactive experience. The display has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. A keypad is used to configure and use the terminal. This keypad is a stainless steel domed membrane keypad which has been tested and can provide over one million presses. It is also equipped with 1,008 Kilobytes of non-volatile memory which can be used to store data, files, and applications. A memory card can be used to accentuate the storage capacity of the operator panel. The operator terminal takes an input power ranging from 85 volts to 264 volts of alternating current. It houses an RS-232 printer port that can be used to connect to a printer and print terminal logs and other data in the background whilst the operator terminal is performing its usual functions. This port can also be used to connect to a personal computer. It also has an Ethernet port that can connect to a PLC-5E or SLC 5/05 controller, or a ControlLogix, MicroLogix, FlexLogix or CompactLogix provided an appropriate bridge module is used on an EtherNet/IP network. Due to this, the operator terminal possesses a very high degree of versatility. The terminal is housed within a NEMA Type 12/13 or 4X enclosure which provides durability, strength, and ventilation. A reset button is also provided if the user needs to reset the terminal back to its factory settings.
