The 2711-B6C8L1 is an obsolete operator terminal by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation and part of the PanelView 600 product line. This operator terminal operates on an input power of 18 – 32 volts DC with an internal memory of 240 kilobytes. It also enables the operator to interface seamlessly with their machines and comes with a human-machine interface that has a 5-inch color display. This PanelView 600 operator terminal supports the PanelBuilder 32, which is also used to connect and link with other compatible devices. It used the DH+ and RS-232 printer communication port as well as the 2711-NC14 communication cables to enhance efficient communication. The unit can be controlled through the human-interface machine which has keypad or touchscreen options for input of information and data. Where necessary, the unit can be used as an internal backlight replacement part number of 2711-NL5. The Allen Bradley 2711-BC8L1 has an approximate shipping weight of 6lbs and dimensions 14 x 11 x 8 inches. The terminal also has the DH+ peer-to-peer communication with one SLC 500 or MicroLogix controller; besides, it features network communication with various controllers over the Data Highway Plus (DH+) network.
