Allen Bradley 2711-B6C16L1 is a discontinued PanelView 600 operator terminal which enables the user to interact with their machine. This unit runs on 18 – 32 volts DC input power, and has a 5-inch color display. The terminal has a human machine interface through which the user can input information and data by using the keypad or touchscreen. The unit has an internal memory of 240 kilobytes and an optional internal backlight replacement part number 2711-NL5. The 2711-B6C16L1 PanelView 600 terminal has an approximated shipment weight of 6 lbs and measurements of 14 x 11 x 8 inches. The PanelView 600 terminals including the 2711-B6C16L1 operator terminal are compatible with the SLC 500, PLC-5 as well as MicroLogix controllers which supports Full Duplex communication. The terminal features an Allen Bradley proprietary protocol that helps in transporting info over a serial data communication RS-422 RS-485 and RS-232 Interface. The PanelView 600 series terminals also come with a flat panel display with a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels. Besides, these operator terminals have DF1 port function which is used for applications requiring messaging to and from Allen Bradley controllers and other equipment. This option offers top performing peer-to-peer common safe use when installed in a suitable rated NEMA 12, 13, 4X, IP54 or IP65 enclosure types. The PanelView terminal DF1 port is a 9- pin, male RS-232 connector.
