Allen-Bradley's 25A-D1P4N104 belongs to the PowerFlex 523 AC power drive family and is a 480V AC (3-phase) variable control drive with 1-analog and 5-digital inputs for applications up to 22 kilowatts (30 Hp). The drive runs between 380 and 480V AC at a frequency of 47-63 Hz and has a rated current of 1.4 amps and 400 watts (0.5 Hp) power, with -15% / +10% of voltage tolerance level. It features a power factor of 0.98 throughout all speed ranges, and a 100 kiloamps (symmetrical) minimum short-circuit rating and an isolated gate bipolar transistor with a 15-18.5 kW BUS choke (20-25 Hp). The drive features an 810V DC BUS over-voltage tripping, a 390V DC under-voltage tripping, and a 100ms power start riding time, as well as over-current prevention with a hardware limitation of 200 percent and an initial fault limit of 300 percent. The 25A-D1P4N104 regulates the motor using Sinusoidal PWM, Volt/Hertz technique, sensorless vector control system, economizer SVC motor controlling unit, and a closed-loop velocity vector control system.

It has a carrier frequency of 2-16 kilohertz, a 4 kHz preset driving frequency, and a frequency precision for digital input of 0.05 percent, analog input less than 0.5 percent, and less than 2% of full scale for analog output. It operates at 1% of base speed over a ratio of 60:1 range of speed (Volt per Hertz) and 0.5 percent of base speed over a ratio of 100:1 speed range (sensorless vector control system), with a control efficiency of 97.5 percent overall and output frequency range of 0 to 500 hertz that may be customized. The 25A-D1P4N104 has 5-digital inputs (1-dedicated and 4-programmable), each with its DIP switch for selecting sink (18-24V/0-6V ON/OFF) or source (0-6V/18-24V ON/OFF) mode, and one isolated 10-bit, 0-10V, and 4 to 20 milliamps analog input with a 100,000 ohms, or 250,000 ohms, characteristic impedance.

It integrates a single programmable Form C Relay output with inductive and resistive ratings, and also 1 non-isolated 0-10 V, or 4 to 20 milliamps, analog output with minimum load resistances of 1 k ohm and 525 ohm. It requires a temperature range of -4 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit when working without derating, a relative humidity range of roughly 0-95 percent (non-condensing), and can be placed at the height of a maximum of 3300 feet without derating. The drive may be attached by DIN Rail or Screw, and it is designed to withstand a 15G operating shock and a 2G vibration.
