This 25A-B5P0N104 is a PowerFlex Series 520 Alternating Current Drive control module made by Allen Bradley. This motor’s innovative control solutions help technicians and engineers optimize system performance, reducing design time and minimizing overall system footprint. This PowerFlex 523 model demands three-phase power of 240 Volts Alternating Current. Its output current is 5.0 amperes. This Allen-Bradley 25A-B5P0N104 PowerFlex 520 AC Drive unit provides an output rating of 0.75 kilowatts or 1.0 horsepower in its normal functioning mode as well as its heavy-duty mode. The required input voltage is between 170 Volts and 264 Volts with an input frequency variation of 47 Hertz up to 63 Hertz. For Non-UL applications (that is, International Electrotechnical Commission or IEC) this drive unit requires a minimum fuse rating of three and maximum of six, meaning that you will require circuit breakers such as Part Numbers 140M-C2E-B63 or 140U-D6D3-B80. For UL applications, Part Numbers 140M-C2E-B63 or 140U-D6D3-B80 would be more appropriate.
The 25A-B5P0N104 module's Human Interface Module will greatly simplify device configuration by way of its 16-segment, 5-digit liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. Optional communications modules (such as Part Number 25A-B5P0N104) further simplify the process of adding an additional module. This drive unit includes a Display Serial Interface (DSI) port to maintain networking across multiple drives. Through the use of this communications interface, one node can connect with as many as five other PowerFlex AC drives.
