The Allen-Bradley 22F-A8P0N113 PowerFlex 4M AC Tunable Frequency Drive is a 240V AC (single-phase) variable frequency drive featuring an LED display, a filter, and no brake. It gives control in a minimal form factor. The drive operates at 240V AC (1-phase) at 50-60 Hz and has an output rating of 8A and 1.5Kw (2HP) when connected to a 200-240V AC input line. It operates between 180 and 265V AC at a frequency of 47-63Hz, has an input current of 22.3A, and has an actual power consumption of 5.4KVA. The drive's 35 Category J fuses, the 140M-D8E-C25 motor protection, and the 100-C23 circuit contactor offer branch safety functionality. The controller features five (2 programmable) 24V DC digital control inputs with Source mode (18-24V/0-6V ON/OFF) and Sink mode (0-6/18-24V ON/OFF) selectable via a DIP switch, as well as one unipolar, 0-10V DC/4-20mA analog input with an impedance of 100 K Ohms/250 Ohms. It has a single Form C relay output with a resistive rating of 3A at 30V DC, 125V AC, and 240V AC and an inductive rating of 0.5A at 30V DC, 125V AC, and 240V AC.

When the hardware limit is surpassed by 200 percent, the controller features over-current protection, instantaneous fault prevention at three 300 percentage points, and also over-voltage and under-voltage stability. It interfaces with the user through fixed programming keys and a four-digit LCD display with ten LED indications indicating the drive's state. The device has an integrated RS-485 connection connector that supports programming through a PC, and it may be extended with DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, or PROFIBUS communication options. It is panel mounted and is enclosed in an IP10-rated enclosure. It operates at temperatures between 14- and 122-degrees Fahrenheit without de-rating, at relative humidity levels between 0 and 95 percent without condensation, and at a maximum height of 1000 meters without de-rating. It weighs approximately 1.6Kg (3.5lb), measures 72mm x 174mm x 136mm in net dimensions, and is UL, CE, c-UL, and C-Tick certified.
