The 22D-D2P3N104 is a PowerFlex 40P Adjustable frequency AC drive from Allen-Bradley. The drive also features a programmable start-up and shutdown feature, allowing the linked motor to run safely and effectively during the STAR / STOP / JOG / FORWARD / REVERSE cycles, as well as frequency adjustment for speed control. Similarly, it controls the linked AC motor utilizing a number of control techniques that may be configured, such as voltage per Hertz Motor Control and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC). The 22D-D2P3N104 includes I/O connectors for connecting external I/O devices. Seven (7) discrete inputs are included, two (2) of which are dedicated for Start and Stop while five (5) are fully programmable inputs, analog input used for speed reference such as 0 to 10 Volts or 4 to 20 milliamperes, external potentiometer terminal for wiring of 1 to 10 Kilo ohms potentiometer, one (1) programmable Form C outputs and two (2) optocoupler outputs, and one (1) analog output that transmits 0 to 10 Volts DC. The 22D-D2P3N104 PowerFlex 40P AC drive has a 480 Volt AC 3-phase input voltage. It has a rating of 2.3 amps, 0.75 kilowatts, and 1.0 horsepower. It may be panel-mounted within an IP20 open enclosure with Frame Size B for dust protection up to 12 millimeters in diameter. This device also supports DIN-rail installation and an IP30 enclosure for extra versatility and protection. The 22D-D2P3N104 features a 4-digit LED display with 10 extra indications and a fault reset button. It may be programmed from a computer and utilized in a multi-drop network setup using the RS-485 communication connection. The drive also supports communication to any controller with a serial converter module through the DF1 connector.
