Derating can also occur if this drive is placed in a corrosive environment. It should be kept away from dust, vapor, water, and toxic gases. 

The 22C-D370A103 features a number of control outputs starting from two non-isolated outputs, one programmable output, and eight relay outputs. On the other hand, it comes with seven digital inputs, three semi-programmable inputs, and 4 programmable inputs. When it comes to communication, this drive supports the standard RS-485 protocol. Users also have access to some additional communication protocols, such as the Ethernet/IP, FLN, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU, DSI, and the Metasys N2. The display can accommodate two entire lines with a total of 32 characters (sixteen characters per line). Just like other drives in this series from Allen-Bradley, it also comes with multi-language support. It supports Dutch, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, English, and French. The 22C-D370A103 comes equipped with five different indicator lights. It is not designed for flange mount and should be installed with an H frame. The frame can absorb 40 N-m of torque per 354 pounds-inch.
