The Allen-Bradley 22C-D038A103 is an adjustable frequency alternating current drive that is primarily used for speed and torque control applications in industrial automation systems. The device is commonly used in conjunction with motors in mechanical pumps, fans, and compressors. The input signal transmitted to the motors connected to these mechanical components generally has a specified frequency that can be modulated by the drive to effectively control the speed of the motor. An insulated bipolar gate transistor can be used to ensure that the ability to control the speed of the motor rests with the user. The device is equipped with a fixed keypad that can be used as a primary input mechanism. The keypad is compatible with alphanumeric characters, variables, statistics, and negative and decimal values. This VFD cable should be connected to the motors using a motor cable that does not exceed 50 meters. 125 ampere is the fuse rating on this VFD. It should be used with panel mounting. An enclosure should be used that protects this drive from dust, water droplets, grease, and oil. Along with the enclosure, this drive should also be used with EMC filters, and DC link chokes. Furthermore, it should also be used with AC line reactors, fuse protection, and Harmonic filters.
