The 22A-A4P5N114 belongs to the PowerFlex 4 family of adjustable AC drives. It features a volts/hertz or scalar control capability and sensorless vector performance. This control method allows the drive to deliver an accurate and responsive speed control for use by machine builder or end users for machine and process automation applications. It is powered by supplying a voltage range of 180 to 265 Volts AC, single phase with a nominal value of 230 Volts AC, output voltage range from 0 to 230 Volts AC, 3-phase frequency of 0 to 240 Hertz with continuous current output of 4.5 Amperes and power rating of 0.75 Kilowatts. An integral filter is also provided in the adjustable AC drive. The module comes with an embedded keypad that has a local potentiometer for modifying the frequency of the drive and controlling the speed. The embedded keypad can only be operated locally with the installation of optional keypad and accessories like remote panel mount, remote handheld wired, and Bluetooth enabled human interface module.
The setup supports dynamic configuration of the drive wherein the parameter may be modified depending on user logic status. This adjustable frequency AC drive is an economical solution for speed of motor, motor acceleration, and power consumption control.
