The Allen-Bradley 2090-U3BC-D4401 is an Ultra3000 servo drive assembly box for breakout board and cables. This product connects Ultra 3000 drives and servo motor unit to the panel-mounted breakout board for controlling interface connections with Kinetix 2000 drives (also with IOD/AF connection) and vice-versa. Since it has a maximum cable temperature rating of ninety (90) degrees Celsius, as well as a forty-four (44)-pin high-density D-shell connection for the Ultra 3000 I/O type interface connector, it is suitable for high-density data transmission applications. Additionally, it is available in a dark gray tone. Additionally, a jacket made of thermoplastic elastomer is provided, as is a shield cover made entirely of aluminum foil with an eighty-five percent (85%) braid over the shield. The CSA and UL have officially approved this module.

This same Ultra 3000 CN1 control interface and the unbuffered motors encoder signals from CN1 are connected to the Allen-Bradley 2090-U3BC-D4401 cable's forty-four (44) pin-out points marked one (1) to forty-four (44) through the D-shell connector. This cable's pin numbers ten (10) to fifteen (15) are not sent via this link. The maximum length of the 2090-U3BC-D4401 cable is ten (10) meters, with a minimal bend radius of one hundred and nine (109) millimeters (mm), or the equivalent of 4.3 inches. Both ends of the 2090-U3BC-D4401 cable include a 44-pin D-shell connection, which is common on most cables. On one end of the wire, the connections are linear (straight), while on the other end, the connectors are bent at a 45-degree angle.
