This 2090-CFBM4E2-CATR is a 2090 series feedback transition cable, and it is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This cable is part of the Kinetix motion accessories product line by Allen-Bradley. This cable has a length of 500 mm (19.7 inches) and a diameter of 9.6 mm (0.38 inches). There are two connectors at each end of the cable. The cable end is a threaded DIN connector (M4), and the other end of the cable is a bayonet receptacle (E2). The length of the threaded DIN connector and bayonet receptacles are 58 mm (2.3 inches) and 90 mm (3.5 inches), respectively. This cable has a voltage rating of 300 volts. The static bend radius of this cable is 67.2 mm (2.6 inches). This cable is designed to connect with Kinetix MPL servo motors. The primary applications of these cables are MPL motors, particularly for those motors rated for 200 volts and motors rated for 400 volts. The bayonet receptacle is fixed in the drive end, and a threaded DIN connector is connected to the motor end. This transition cable is a non-flex type of cable. Allen-Bradley is manufacturing both flex cable and non-flex cables. Flex-rated cables will be used for moving applications. This flying-lead feedback requires connector kits or breakout components for the drive-end terminations. Only trained technicians are allowed for the installation of Allen-Bradley motors and accessories, which includes feedback or power cables. This threaded DIN feedback transition cable is mainly used in industrial applications and more specifically for moving applications.
