This Micro 850 controller is ideal for use in small and easy industrial processes. However, it can be programmed to take on a wide range of industrial applications. It needs to be supplied with a voltage in the range of 14-24 volts. It can both work with direct and alternate current. This controller can work with both stranded and solid wires. It supports 24 AWG and 14 AWG wires. However, whatever users might use with this controller, it must come with insulation against a maximum temperature of 90 degrees celsius. There are two communication ports, two power ports, and two signal ports on this controller.

The 2080-LC50-24QBB is a compact controller. It is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the Micro 850 line of PLCs. The Micro850 controller comes with many advanced features starting with its removable terminal blocks, space-saving plug-in, and additional expansion I/O modules. Furthermore, the Micro850 controller comes with one input that supports 14-24 volts in direct current or alternate current, one output that supports 14-24 volts in direct current or alternate current, an ethernet port, a maximum of four HSC outputs, one embedded USB port for programming and configuration, three plug-in ports, and a non-isolated RS-232 serial port & RS-485 port. The Micro 850 comes with EtherNet/IPTM for connected components. This controller also comes with a client messaging feature. Communications with other controllers are established using symbolic addressing. For power, it requires a power input of 8 watts. It requires 28 watts when used with plug-ins and expansion I/O channels. It consists of 10K program steps. There are 20 kilobytes of storage data on this module. This module should be operated within a temperature range of -20 degrees celsius to 65 degrees celsius.  It comes with support for a maximum of four two-wire HSCs. Its dimensions are (H x W x D) 90 millimeters x 158 millimeters x 80 millimeters. Its shipping weight is 0.423 kilograms (0.933 pounds). This compact controller uses an output circuit type that needs to be connected to a 24 volts direct current power source.
