Part number 2080-LC10-12QBB is a Micro 810 series controller designed and manufactured to provide cost-effective solutions for small-scale applications. This controller is capable of functioning like a micro programmable logic controller having similar configuration capabilities as other Micro800 controllers. In addition, Allen-Bradley’s 2080-LC10-12QBB was designed to effectively accommodate within minimum requirements of 24 VDC output power supply. This controller type is equipped with different internal functions and can operate as a count-down/count-up timer, ON/OFF delay timer, and clock. Other functions embedded in this controller include the time of the day, week, and year configuration and display, pulse timing, as well as password protection. Equipped with status indication LEDs, this device can be mounted using a DIN rail and panel mount. Surge suppressors should be used to protect the operating life of the controller’s output contact points against potentially large amounts of current surges during the switching of inductive loads like solenoids and motor starting devices. Additionally, this device should be mounted far from sources of electrical noise like hard-contact switches and AC motor drives.
