The 1394 axis module provides multi-axis motion control and drive with its unique integrated motion controller and GMC drive system with Turbo or standard IMCTM S Class Compact functionality. The module has an integrated 9/440 CNC system, 9/series CNC digital interface drive system, and a SERCOS servo drive system as options. It has a power rating of 10 Kilowatts and 23.3 Amperes of continuous current with 33.2 Amperes peak and external heatsink. The servo amplifier module uses Series C enhancements that have improved terminations and EMI filtering. The module has speed regulation accuracy of 0 to 0.05% of base speed with 100% torque distribution. The static gain is 22.8 rms A/mV with peak current limit adjustment of 143%. The modular frequency is 5 kiloHertz with variation of ±10% and a drift of 0.03 rpm per degree Celsius. The nominal input voltage is 530 and 680 Volts direct current. It delivers continuous power output at 360 and 460 Volts nominal of 11.34 and 15.6 Kilowatts, respectively. The efficiency is 98% and it weighs 7 kilograms (15.44 pounds). It has a capacitance of 465 microFarads. The axis module is compatible with motor MPL-B420P, which has a maximum speed of 5000 rpm and system continuous torque of 4.74 N-m, output rating of 1.9 Kilowatts, and similar models of higher ratings. It can be used in several axis module combinations where the number of axes vary from 0 to 4. The series C module features connector (plug-in) input power termination, cable clamp (strain relief, shield bond), EMI filter (24 Volt input power, registration), and smart power for soft start and power monitor.
