The 1394-SJT05-A is a digital AC servo control system unit manufactured by Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the 1394 Servo Controller series. The 1394-SJT05-A has an internal shunt resistor with an internal resistance of 16 ohms, a continuous rating of 200 watts and a peak rating of 40 kilowatts. It has an efficiency of 98 percent, analog input of 10 volts DC, power rating of 5 kilowatts, input voltage of 360 – 480 volts AC and Static Gain of 4.9 RMS A/mV. It is a multi-axis motion control and drive system designed to control the velocity or torque and work of a machine with the Universal Bulletin 1201 Human Interface Module, which allows the user to access the auto-tuning and start-up features. It comes with an analog interface that operates on ±10 volts DC and standard features such as the SCANport interface. It also features an active soft start inrush current limit for DC link charging, and the troubleshooting system module can be done using two configurable analog test outputs that provide information on critical system parameters. Allen Bradley 1394-SJT05-A system module features a power rating of 5 kilowatts at 460 volts. The module can convert three-phase input power of 380 – 460 volts AC, 50 – 60 hertz to a 530 – 680 volts DC link voltage without using an isolation inductor or transformer. This 1394-SJT05-A system module comes with a complete set of components used to set up the analog servo control system. The connectors for motor feedback, torque reference input, and AQB output to and from the motion controller. Besides, the module comes with serial communication for the Human Interface Module (HIM).
