The 1336 IMPACT drive L option L6 is a 115-Volt alternating current interface. It cannot be attached to any encoder. It is compatible with 1771-OA, 1771-OAD, 1771-OW and 1771-OWN Allen-Bradley PLC modules. The Accel or decel rate inputs are used to select the acceleration and deceleration times used by the drives. A digital potentiometer (Manually Operated Potentiometer or MOP) input controls the drive speed demand based on the selected value. It can also be programmed with a specific rate of increase or decrease. The "Enable" signal on removal stops the inverter and the motor comes to a halt. Motor is fluxed up with the "Flux enable” control function. The forward and reverse direction input works on its presence or absence basis in single source mode where presence means reversing the direction and absence of input means forward direction. In multiple source model, there are separate input signals for the two. There is a “Jog” control function for jog speed input, which in absence leads to motor halting. Local control function provides exclusive control of drive logic to the inputs at the L Option. The ramp input disables ramp function and reset function resets the drive. There are Run forward and reverse commands that lead to starting and direction instruction to the drive. The speed selects are used to command speed choice and speed/torque selection can be used to toggle between the two. The start input is for the start command to accelerate to the command speed and, similarly, stop command stops the drive.
