The Allen-Bradley 1336-L5E is a highly effective control interface option that can be implemented in conjunction with the 1336 Series of alternating current drives designed and manufactured on alternating current. While the adjustable frequency drives are powered exclusively by alternating current, the control interface board can operate on an input power supply consisting of both alternating current and direct current rated at 24 volts. The voltage at the terminals of the control interface board is 24 volts and the device has a low-state voltage of 20 volts of alternating current. The interface board can be mounted using the 2 captive screws available on the board. This mounting procedure ensures that the board is securely fastened to the rest of the industrial automation system and will not be able to effect a loose connection.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-L5E is a highly sophisticated control option and can be used to further accentuate the performance of the drive. The adjustable frequency drive is primarily used to control the speed of the rotating components of the system and achieves both speed control and torque control by using a frequency modulation process. The control interface board enhances the feedback system of the device by providing a robust encoder feedback loop that allows the signals of the alternating current drive to be encoded by the control interface. The encoder is also equipped with a loss detection mechanism that can measure the magnitude of the signals lost by the system due to electrical noise. This device also has a low-state resistance rating of 2500 ohms.
