The Allen-Bradley 1305 series adjustable frequency drive has a voltage rating of 380 to 460 Volts in three phase and a nominal current rating of A09 (9 Amperes). It has a NEMA Type 1 enclosure and programmer-only human interface. The input power rating is 5 horsepower or 4 Kilowatts and the current output is 9 Amperes at 380 Volts, 8.4 Amperes at 415 Volts, and 7.6 Amperes at 460 Volts. The power factor (displacement) is 0.8 lagging and efficiency is typically 97.5%. It has a power dissipation of 107 Watts and uses natural convective cooling; it has no fans. The allowable ambient temperature range is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and in case of an enclosure it reduces to 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The storage can be on a wider temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius with relative humidity range of 5 to 95% with no condensation allowed. The drive can withstand vibration of up to 1 g. The unit needs no derating up to 1000 meters (3300 ft) above sea level and beyond that has a 6% derate on the drive rated Amperes per every 1000 meters. The control input is contact closure type with an internal 5 Volt supply; it should not be grounded or applied any external voltage to. The start, stop, forward and reverse signal is configurable for two or three wire control. The external speed potentiometer is 10 Kilohms and 1 Watt. It has an interlock input to enable drive operation from the system control.
